Drop Electric - Video Premiere and Free Album Download
Good evening,
We are Drop Electric, a DC/NYC based post-rock band. We are writing to you because we have been extremely busy lately. We will be playing a headlining show at Rock N Roll Hotel in DC on Friday, August 5th. In preparation for the show, we just premiered a brand new video for "Robot Funeral," (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ahm9cV7M6ro) off of our upcoming release. We hope you like it.
-We have also recently scored a short film, called "Compromised," (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OgOWwdLaHMo) the first of several film projects we are working on this year.
-We have also recently launched our official website http://www.dropelectric.com, so if you get a chance, you should check it out. We have our debut album, "Finding Color in the Ashes," streaming for free as well as several of our music videos and other work.
In order to celebrate all of this, we are offering our album as a free download. We hope that you get some time to listen, and please feel free to share the link with anyone who might enjoy what we do. Here is the link: http://www.dropelectric.com/audio/
Thank you and we hope you enjoy the music.

Bio:
Drop Electric is a post-rock band based in Washington D.C. and Harlem, NYC. Their music has been described as "sample based, evocative, post-rock." Based in melody and distortion and deeply inspired by cinema, their live show is a combination of evocative music and narrative film that complement the themes and emotions expressed by their mostly instrumental songs. In December 2010, they released their debut album, "Finding Color in the Ashes" at the Black Cat Mainstage in Washington, D.C. The album has been reviewed and or featured in The Washington Post, Mixtape Muse, Musigh, and a number of other fine publications.
